8 delicious sprat sandwiches that will become your favorite


1. Sandwiches with sprats and lemon



  • 6 slices of lemon;
  • 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • 6 slices of bread;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • 1 can of sprats;
  • 1 sprig of dill or parsley.


Cut lemon slices into quarters. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Toast the bread for a couple of minutes on each side. Cool, rub with garlic on one side and lightly grease with mayonnaise. Put the lemon with sprats and garnish with herbs.

2. Sandwiches with sprats and eggs

  • 1 egg;
  • 1 slice onion – optional
  • 2 slices of bread;
  • 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise (can be replaced with butter);
  • 6–7 sprats;
  • parsley for garnish – optional


Hard boil the egg. Cool and cut into pieces. Chop the onion. Brush the bread with mayonnaise. Put the egg and sprats on it. Sprinkle with onions and garnish with parsley.

3. Sandwiches with sprats, egg and tomato



  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 1 tomato;
  • 1-2 small pickled cucumbers;
  • 5-6 slices of bread;
  • 5–6 sprats;
  • 1 sprig of parsley – optional


Boil the eggs until tender, about 10 minutes. Cool and grate them on a medium or large grater. Mix with mayonnaise and garlic passed through a press. Cut the tomato into thin slices, cucumbers into small pieces.

Brown the bread in a pan without oil. Let cool and brush with egg mixture. Put cucumbers on top, and on them – tomatoes and sprats. Decorate with greenery.

4. Sandwiches with sprats and avocados



  • 1 stalk of green onions;
  • 1 avocado;
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice;
  • salt – to taste;
  • pepper – to taste;
  • 4-5 slices of bread;
  • 2-3 tablespoons of cream cheese;
  • 1 can of sprats;
  • a few slices of lemon or lime.


Chop the green onion. Cut the avocado into flat pieces, sprinkle with lemon juice, lightly salt and pepper.

Dry the slices of bread for a couple of minutes in a pan without oil. Cool and brush with cream cheese. Top with avocado slices, sprats and citrus slices. Sprinkle with green onions.

5. Sandwiches with sprats and scrambled eggs



  • A few green onion feathers;
  • ½ small cucumber;
  • 4 eggs;
  • salt – to taste;
  • pepper – to taste;
  • 3-4 teaspoons of butter;
  • 6-8 slices of rye bread;
  • ½ can of canned sprats.


Chop the green onion. Cucumber cut into thin slices. Whisk the eggs with salt and pepper. Heat a teaspoon of butter in a frying pan and fry the scrambled eggs, stirring constantly. Cool down.

Cut slices of bread into halves and brush with butter. Put on each piece of cucumber, scrambled eggs and sprats. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.

6. Sandwiches with sprats, kiwi and pomegranate



  • ½ kiwi;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 30 g of processed cheese;
  • 3-4 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • 6 slices of bread (loaf);
  • 6 sprats;
  • 2 tablespoons of pomegranate seeds.


Kiwi cut into slices. Pass the garlic through a press. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and mix with garlic and mayonnaise.

Brown the loaf in a frying pan without oil for a couple of minutes. Cool slightly and brush with cheese sauce. Top with sprats, kiwi slices and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.

  • 2-3 sprigs of greens;
  • 6-8 slices of bread;
  • 4 tablespoons of cream cheese;
  • 1 jar of sprats.


Cut the olives into slices. Finely chop the greens.

Spread the bread with cream cheese. Top with sprats, olives and herbs.
