Sort through the grapes and other fruits you will be using. Remove any spoiled ones, and rinse the rest well under running water. Remove the grapes from the stems if the recipe does not require them.

All compotes are designed for three-liter jars. Water for them will need 2-2ยฝ liters.

The amount of sugar can be varied depending on the acidity or sweetness of the grapes.
