Lazy Pizza Margherita

If there is minced meat in the refrigerator, and a baguette in the closet, then in half an hour you can cook an excellent dinner.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef;
  • 350 g of tomatoes in their own juice;
  • 250 g mozzarella;
  • 1 baguette;
  • a bunch of basil;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking

Minced meat is better to take beef. But you can use a mix of pork and chicken. Fry the minced meat in a well-heated pan for 5-8 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and simmer for about 15 more minutes, until the liquid has evaporated.

Cut the baguette lengthwise, remove the pulp from the middle. Dry both halves in the oven for 2-3 minutes. Cut the mozzarella into cubes. Chop the basil.

Spread the minced meat with tomatoes and cheese on both halves of the baguette. Sprinkle with basil and bake for another 5 minutes.

This is a traditional dish of Greek cuisine, which is juicy balls of minced meat and vegetables. Keftedes can be served alone (they go well with beer) or with a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef;
  • 2-3 medium bulbs;
  • 2 slices of white bread;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 egg;
  • 4 tablespoons chopped parsley;
  • 4 tablespoons of milk;
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar;
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
  • 10 mint leaves;
  • salt and black ground pepper – to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking

Soak bread in milk. Squeeze and add minced meat, egg, chopped onion, garlic, parsley and mint to it. Mix well. Salt, pepper, add oregano, drizzle with olive oil and vinegar. Mix again – better with your hands.

Cover bowl with cling film and refrigerate for an hour. During this time, the spices will give off flavor, and the meat will give juice (it will need to be drained). If you don’t have ground beef, use lamb or pork with chicken (50/50).

Shape the minced meat into balls and fry them in a large amount of very hot vegetable oil. Place the finished keftedes on a paper towel to remove excess fat.

Beef “Wellington” with minced meat

Wellington beef is an expensive, festive dish. But it can be simplified by replacing the beef tenderloin with minced meat. The result will not be worse.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of ground beef;
  • 500 g puff pastry;
  • 200 g mushrooms;
  • 100 g of tomato sauce;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 3 onions;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • parsley and other herbs – to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking

Mix minced meat with chopped onion, 2 cloves of garlic and herbs. Add 3 eggs and mix well. Put in a baking dish and put in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20 minutes. Cool down.

Fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil with the remaining garlic. Mushrooms will give liquid – fry until it evaporates.

Roll out the puff pastry, put the cooled mushrooms and a loaf of minced meat on it, pour over the tomato sauce. Close the roll. Beat 1 egg and brush the roll with it. Make slits on top of the dough.

Bake at the same temperature for 30-40 minutes.

With this simple dish, you can feed hungry friends who suddenly come to visit. All you need is some minced meat and potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat;
  • 250 ml of meat broth;
  • 50 g of hard cheese;
  • 5 large potatoes;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce;
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce;
  • salt and pepper – to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking

Peel and finely chop the onion. It must be fried with minced meat. When the onion is soft and the meat is browned, add the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.

During this time, boil the potatoes in their skins. Make sure that it does not boil, but remains slightly raw. Cut each potato in half lengthwise and scoop out the core with a spoon.

Spread the meat sauce over the potato halves. Sprinkle each with grated cheese. Put on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 10-15 minutes to melt the cheese and form a golden crust.

Burrito with beans and corn

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef;
  • 400 g of hard cheese;
  • 200 g canned corn;
  • 200 g canned white beans;
  • 100 ml thick tomato sauce;
  • 12 tortillas;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 red bell pepper;
  • olive oil for frying;
  • salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.

Cooking

Peel the onion, finely chop and fry with minced meat in olive oil. Drain the liquid from the corn and beans, remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut into cubes.

Add vegetables to minced meat when it becomes soft. Salt, pepper, add ¾ grated cheese, garlic powder and other spices, pour tomato sauce. Stir and cook for a few more minutes.

Sprinkle the tortillas with the remaining cheese. Put the filling on them, fold them into envelopes and hold them in a dry hot frying pan for 1-2 minutes.
